How to get to Poole

Airports

Bournemouth International Airport is approx. 9.5 miles from Poole Town Centre.

Southampton Airport has its own railway station and from there it’s a 45 minute train journey direct to Poole rail station.

Rail

Poole rail station is situated within the Town Centre.

South West Trains run a half hour limited stop train service between Poole and London Waterloo.

Note: If your train terminates at Bournemouth there is usually a Poole bound train a few minutes later or you can catch a taxi.

By Road

Poole is just over 2 hours 20 mins from London by car.  Take the M3 from London or the A34 from the Midlands joining the M3 southbound at Winchester, continue on to the M27 westbound, which becomes the A31, follow signs for the town centre.

Car Parks

Poole has five multi-storey car parks, with the largest one at the Dolphin Shopping Centre. Paid on street parking is available around Poole Quay but spaces are limited. Read more.

Coach Services

National Express  offers a regular service to Poole plus a Flightlink service to/from Heathrow Airport and central London with connections to Gatwick Airport.

Buses

There is a special bus service during the weekend of the festival circulating around the event (Please see timetable below). Poole bus station is situated at the heart of the Town Centre with frequent services from neighbouring Bournemouth and beyond. Read More.
