TWICE THE HEALTH Q&A
Fitness and Health Bloggers
Emily and Hannah AKA Twice the Health met at university, bonding over a mutual love for running and really good food, they began TTH following securing a very last minute spot in the London Marathon. Since then they’ve worked to build a running community that brings the enjoyment back into the sport that fills us with so much joy. So many people associate running with injury or weight loss, but there is so much more to the simple strides than this. The community is incredible, the social side is ever growing and opportunity to be outdoors is one we’ll never get bored of. Now they want to share that with YOU.
TTH say “We’ll be at Taste of the South this year in the Zen Den to talk about all things running, food and how the once dreaded ‘cardio’ could actually become something you really quite like. Running should be about bringing groups together to get outside, get active and get social. If it’s not fulfilling one, or all of these things something’s not right. We’re here to change that!”
Madeleine Grantham is a performance storyteller, with over 20 years experience. She’ll be bringing enthralling and energetic retellings of traditional tales and myths to the festival.
Come along and hear about: the man who wished for a sausage, the role of strawberries in reconciling Adam and Eve, how a tramp involved a village in a frugal recipe for soup, and the youth giving properties of Viking apples.
With these and a wealth of other stories about food and farming to choose from you’ll be salivating at this smorgasbord of sweet and savoury stories.
